Dear All, 

After a peaceful, well-energy-filled, quiet atmosphere during the continuous 12-day Advent Open Studio, from December 3 to 16, 2025, and on waiting for the Prince of Peace, the One we are waiting for, which serves its true purpose very well.

We now also offer additional Open Studio for the Holiday Season! This will be very generous and kind to participants who requested to return and continue working on the in-progress unfinished pieces, as well as to those who missed time in the past for understandable reasons.

So, NOW YOU HAVE some additional choices to make an appointment on the following listed days from December 26, 2025, to January 10, 2026. 

As noted in the poster above, the Holiday Open Studio is available ONLY BY APPOINTMENT. 

Please try to avoid Sundays because there will be a relatively quiet and suitable atmosphere and energy field on other days of the week, which will be better for a calming, peaceful mood, non-distracting but concentrated. But mostly, it is when you feel ready, have available time, and are willing to worship through art-making; it is never about skill levels, but about the state of mind and a heartfelt inner voice.

All programs (standalone events, themed workshops, festive workshops) within this Art and Faith Fellowship Group at the church are FREE; donations are optional, not necessary. This fellowship group at church: I requested a separate donation line (which you'll find called Art and Faith Ministry in this church setting) that still goes to the church but is used only for this Art and Faith Fellowship Group's activities at this location. All mixed-media art materials have been provided by our Art and Faith Fellowship Group(ministry).

And why I started this fellowship group:

Also, a few years back, in 2018/2019, the previous Pastor Emily Lin from Twin Towers UMC offered me a small room to work on my thesis art projects for my second master's degree. Also, the previous Pastor Sam from Embrace Church offered me my first teaching opportunity in a church-based setting for the women's group...and so much more on God prepared us the years in between. So it is always a response to the direct call from God given to me, the fire God put in my heart to work on for this church location in this special transitional time period of the church merges, which is why I initiated during the final phase of the two churches' merger, the time church had unclear management and limited resources, gloomy atmosphere, but all the motivation and intention with all the different abundant 28 sessions of faith-driven workshops, event, open studio, and so on, I hosted under this fellowship group since July 2025 until now, has been are not only to help and give back to this church location during these two churches' hard times, but also as the way I thank this place, as well as for the previous people but who no longer in this church location who supported me before. It is the kindness to pass down, but the strength is all from above.

As I mentioned in the proposal, it was always intended to be a fellowship group. It was always a response to the call God put in my heart. However, without prior notice or discussion with me, the group was announced as a ministry from the church side. No matter what, when I initiate this group, all proposals, records of how donations and expenses are used, and in-time reports are available in the Art and Faith Fellowship Group room at this church location for each project under the Art and Faith Fellowship Group. The time helped me fix my attention on God, and it is a testimony of the process.

With advance notice, this fellowship group (ministry) will only be closed at this church Location after the Holiday Season Open Studio. It will have fulfilled its purpose in this transitional period at this church location.
